Hey all,

Hope you’ve been enjoying the summer, it goes by so quickly and it seems that so much we’ve planned to do just doesn’t get done. This past week I got a chance to watch the Hydroplane boats out on the Detroit river.

The weather was great for the day of the trials, but it got wet and windy for the first day of the actual races. Then we got a break and had beautiful weather that Sunday:

The boats were doing 145mph and better and it was great to see them in action. They also had air support out of Selfridge Air Force Base:

and I got a chance to see them lowering the boats into the water with a crane, I don’t remember that from years past:

And by the way, here’s a little music from the upcoming CD which is as yet unnamed. I hope to release it in a month or so….

Take a peek and see if you like it.

See ya!
