Well, what can I say? It’s all too much, you got to try and find some humor in this thing somewhere – so – try singing this to the tune of “The Beverly Hillbillies”

Come and listen to a story about a man named ‘John’

a poor city man living under a bond.

Then one day ore’ to Windsor he styles….

and out from the bench comes a bubblin’ Giles….

Ron that is, 36th Court, trial Judge.

Well the first thing you know ole ‘John’s a prisoner here

Kinfolks said “Glad the Primary’s gon’ and cleared!”

Wayne county jail is the place he ought to be,

so they loaded up the van and tonight he’s gonna sleep

In jail that is, cement bench, steel bars.

Well now it’s time to say good-bye to ‘John’ (and all his kin)

but we would like to thank you folks for kindly droppin in.

You’re all invited back next week to this locality

to watch the trial of ‘John Sixpack’ and Christine Beatty.

Ghetto that is.  Set a spell.  Take your shoes off.  Ya’ll come back now ya’ hear?
